Concealed Carry
The Sheriff’s Department in
To qualify for the permit you must first be
over the age of 23 Years and a resident for six months! Next,
you must pass an approved Firearms Safety Training Course Such as the one in

So folks, as you can tell, not everyone gets

to the Concealed Carry has been added.
That states among, other things, (as I remember) that anyone protecting
themselves cannot be sued if they shoot a “bad guy”!
This Amendment is called the “Castle Doctrine”.
This also states that, you no longer need to get a permit from the
Sheriff’s office to purchase a handgun, as explained by The
Missouri Attorney General.
Another factor to the CCW is that it is
honored by some states and is not honored by others.
It is the responsibility of the permit holder to research what states
have a “Reciprocity
Agreement” with the state of Missouri,
before traveling with a concealed weapon through or vacationing in that state.
In addition, this same law allows any person
over the age of 21 to have in their vehicle a concealed weapon.
WITH QUALIFICATIONS!
There are places that you cannot carry a concealed weapon.

ways I suggest that you do so with the businesses that proudly display a “No
firearms allowed”, you surely will be the only one there with a gun.
